On January 15, our Catchment Area Council 1&2 is inviting legislators from Greenwich through Westport to join us for a Legislative Breakfast to hear from those affected by mental illness and addiction. Advocates from those towns are welcome to join us! Please RSVP.
On January 23 (snow date January 30th), the Behavioral Health Legislative Forum in Fairfield will educate legislators from Greater Bridgeport and Greater Norwalk about behavioral health parity, peer support services, and community-based services. These are topics we expect to come up for public hearing during the upcoming legislative session. This event is co-sponsored by NAMI Fairfield, Bridge House, Keystone House and "The Hub." (The Hub is the new Regional Behavioral Health Action Organization, which is a merger between Southwest Regional Mental Health Board, Communities 4 Action and RYASAP.)
