It's time! Join us for the 2nd annual Fairfield County Walks for Mental Health event! Our walk has 3 goals:
raise awareness about mental illness by showing how many of us are affected, directly or indirectly
raise awareness of the many programs, services and supports that are available -- please consider coming together and wearing a t-shirt to showcase your group
kick off mental health awareness month!
We hope you'll get involved! Here's what you can do:
Please email info@healthymindsct.org to let us know if you're planning to participate and how many people will be walking with you.
Please download the flyer here and share it with your friends or colleagues or post it at a local coffee shop, library or community board near you!
Please share the flyer on your social media and use #FfldCtyWalks4MH!
This year we are pleased to have Rep. Brenda Kupchick and Sen. Bob Duff as speakers, as well as Mayor Rilling who will open the month with an official proclamation.
We are very grateful to Rep. Kupchick for co-sponsoring Senate Bill 384 this year, along with Rep. Livvy Floren, to improve mental health parity.
Remember! Email info@healthymindsct.org to tell us you're coming!
